Alcatraz Versus the Shattered Lens by Brandon Sanderson
The situation in Mokia is getting worse and worse even though Alcatraz managed to keep the Council from handing it over outright to the Librarians. Of course, this means Alcatraz dives headlong into the conflict in Mokia itself. He finds himself up against the most extreme Librarians yet - the Shattered Lens - who will stop at nothing to conquer Mokia.
O the puns in this one are fast and furious. I rather enjoyed it in a shaking my head the whole time kind of way ^.^ Sanderson delivers yet another fun-filled Alcatraz book. This one has giant robots in it! (despite the fact that it's a fantasy) The cover IS accurate just so you know.
I can't get enough of how Sanderson turns these really bad things such as the ability to break things and get lost into something really useful without it feeling forced. This one introduces a couple new ones that were quite amusing ^.^
Despite the full time circus that follows Alcatraz around and of course the war, there is still a tantalizing amount of progression with the story of how the talents came to be, and I REALLY REALLY hope Scholastic picks up the contract for the fifth and final book in this series.
