Welcome from Book Blog Hop hosted by Crazy for Books and Follow Friday hosted by Parajunkee!
HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!
What are you reading now and why are you reading it?
I'm reading Life as We Knew It right now because a friend recommended it months ago, and I'm finally getting around to reading it. I'm really bad at reading recommended books (from people I trust) right away, but eventually I do read them heh~~
Loving the Reviews Challenge (and giveaway event extravaganza) has started! There are going to be a ton of authors giving away stuff and all you have to do is what you all normally do - review books! Check out the details and sign up and link up! We just added Lily of the Nile by Stephanie Dray (our guest poster tomorrow) to our prize pool ^.^
Krista D. Ball wrote an excellent post about loving a child as part of the Loving the Reviews Challenge yesterday ^.^
I only had 1 review this past week because of tests and such which was Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman.
What book are you currently pushing?
You mean other people only push 1 book at a time?! Ha! HA! It really depends on what the person I'm pushing books on has read... but I push
The Warded Man by Peter V. Brett
Kushiel's Dart by Jacqueline Carey
Old Man's War by John Scalzi
Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Unwind by Neal Shusterman
Soulless by Gail Carriger
I'm sure there are more that I push heh....

is that the book that inspired the movie or just a coincidental same name?

Happy Friday! :D I'm already participating in the contest haha! It's been so much fun so far and has really motivated me to read, so thank you for that! I think I've already linked up 4 reviews since the start of the month and I'm about to add a fifth!
Here's my hop and weekly round-up!
Hopping through. I've heard of Life As We Knew It, but don't know much about it. Hope you love it!
My Hop
Hey kitty,
hopping by for crazy for books blog hop; this sounds like a lovely contest, and great that you linked to Krista :-) Happy Friday and happy hopping!

Hm, I'll be looking forward to your review of that book. I've heard mention of it, but I haven't heard much about the book itself.
I haven't heard of this book before. I think I'm with Small Review, I'll check back for a review.
Nice blog.

Hopping by. Have a great weekend!
@Kylie I really have no idea!
@Small Review and Beth It's pretty good so far ^.^
I'm bloghopping today, seeing what people are currently reading, befriending new blogs. I'm reading a children's book from New Zealand called Under the Mountain that is on the 1001 Children's Books You Must Read list. Excellent.
And I am your newest follower! Hope you will stop by my blog and say hello!
I'm the same way. My book recommendations depend on who I'm talking to. But, overall, my most common recommendation has been The Hunger Games series.
I'm your newest follower! Hopping by to check in; visit in turn if you can.
The book I'm pushing is Fatty Legs, a terrific story of a girl's unbroken spirit in the face of hostility and alienation.
You can read my review of it here:

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog. Probably because my tastes are quite eclectic what I recommend varies a lot depending who's asking too!
Happy Chinese New Year to you, too! The only book on your list that I've heard of is Unwind. The author came to our school last year and I bought Full Tilt. It's a good book!
Happy Friday!

Good answer! The answer on my book blog is a little embarassing; it’s a book that’s been sitting on my TBR pile for a year.
To my shame, I only opened the book because I remember it contained an Amazon gift card.
